Encouraged by the positive community response to the inaugural Zoomtopia event in 2017,  Zoom worked with Shiloh Events to successfully double the number of attendees, quantity of content delivered, and scope of activities for Zoomtopia 2018. The result was a spectacular two-day event filled with fun and surprises for over 1300 live attendees and thousands more who participated online. This undersea-themed extravaganza immersed attendees in Zoom’s vision of workplace happiness.

The San Jose Convention Center was transformed into a coral reef ecosystem showcasing Zoom product adoption. In the main event hall, attendees explored gorgeously-outfitted Zoom Rooms, discussed questions with Zoom technical staff, and learned about partner integrations.

In the general session hall, schools of fish swam up rippling blue walls and Happy, a life-sized humpback whale, whimsically presided over main stage activities. Attendees relaxed in soft furnishings to enjoy interactive sessions, big-name speakers, and bursts of fun from the Zoom Happiness Crew.

The grand finale “Celebration of Happiness” included a luxury outdoor festival, complete with Ferris wheel and mechanical shark. Attendees dined on all-you-can eat gourmet street food, and headline performer, Macklemore, wrapped up the event with a show-stopping performance.
